Maintenance and common troubleshooting of dump truck hydraulic system
Author:
The hydraulic system is the "heart" of a dump truck, and its reliability is crucial. Regular maintenance and proper troubleshooting can greatly reduce downtime.
Daily maintenance points:
1. Hydraulic oil: Check the oil level and oil quality regularly. Replace hydraulic oil and filter elements at specified intervals to prevent impurities from wearing down precision components.
2. Pipes and joints: Check for oil leakage, pipe wear or loose joints.
3. Oil cylinder: Keep the piston rod clean to prevent dust from scratching the seal.
Common faults and preliminary troubleshooting:
Inability to lift or unable to lift: Check whether the hydraulic oil is sufficient, whether the hydraulic pump is working, and whether the safety valve is accidentally opened or damaged.
Automatically falling after lifting (cargo compartment subsidence): usually caused by internal leakage in the lifting cylinder or control valve leakage, requiring professional maintenance.
Shaking during lifting: There may be air in the hydraulic oil (needs to be exhausted), or the oil line may be clogged.
Abnormal system noise: It may be caused by insufficient hydraulic oil, air being sucked into the pump, or damage to the oil pump.
It is recommended that operators follow the manufacturer's manual for basic maintenance, and complex faults should be handled by professional technicians.
